Good Neighbours
Community Spirit for the All-Ireland Hurling 2018

Building and maintaining a sense of community is the prime objective of the Community Council. We will try and bring people together in social and educational settings; we will try to support the many local organisations which already do a terrific job and we will try and ensure that our community responds to the needs of all our residents particularly in helping to identify housing needs for the future.

Sub group members:

Beautiful Countryside

The Parish is bordered by the Blackwater River, sea and St Declan’s Way. We work with An Taisce, local community groups, Waterford City and County Council and Waterford Leader Partnership to explore ways we can open up our beautiful countryside to be appreciated by residents and visitors. This will help to support local businesses for the benefit of all.
