Clashmore Strings and Things line up 2018

Looks like the June Bank holiday weekend this year will be an exciting time to be in Clashmore, once again the two main venues will be “The Old Schoolhouse” in Clashmore and “The River Stage”.

Lisa who is from Cavan has been on the road with Glen Hansard in Ireland and then to the UK with Scottish folk singer James Yorkston, She has also appeared at the Body & Soul or the Electric Picnic Festivals

Cider Wasps

Cider Wasps are a four piece alternative rock band from Dungarvan, Co. Waterford, Ireland. The band consists of brothers Danny and Tommy Dunford, Stephen Keating and Colin Drummey. The band formed in early 2013 and have been gigging in various venues across the country since but as of late have started hitting the Irish festival scene with an appearance at Indiependence 2016.

New Foundland

Newfoundland (or Newfoundland the Band as they are known in some areas) are a five piece traditional / contemporary band from the South East of Ireland.

The band got their name from the connection between their home region and the Canada’s Newfoundland, where many Irish emigrants settled long ago. With four vocalists and five multi-instrumentalists in the band, Newfoundland have created a signature sound that they have become well known for, putting their own stamp on traditional tunes as well as contemporary songs. Between them, the band has a very wide range of music in their repertoire, and have become known for being a band that could come out with any song, sometimes very much to the surprise of the band members themselves!

The Gypsy Fish

are a professional cover band from the South of Ireland Rock pop soul funk reggae folk!!
